WE ARE
Frederick Du Toit is a proven freelance proofreader and translator, with 33 years’ experience under his belt.
He is one of those (un)fortunates who cannot ignore a spelling mistake or grammatical error.
When not engaged with his computer, he spends most of his time reading, both fiction and non-fiction.
He is passionate about languages
Frederick obtained a BA degree in 1984, majoring in English and Biblical History, and including Afrikaans, from the University of Pretoria.
He passed SA Freelance Writers' proofreading course with distinction.
Frederick has extensive experience in translation, proofreading and editing of diverse documents, which he has been doing part-time since 1985 and full-time since 2019.
